Our Safe Space is a 100% volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit creating welcoming, judgment-free spaces for growth, creativity, and connection. Through free workshops and groups, we empower individuals — especially women and LGBTQ members — to thrive personally and socially.
We’re ready to launch a new book club focused on practical personal growth — and we’re looking for the right facilitator to bring it to life.

- Other books centered on resilience, habits, mindset, confidence, and transformation
- Help select meaningful titles
- Lead engaging monthly discussions (via Zoom or in person in Tucson)
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Encourage reflection, conversation, and practical takeaways
Who We’re Looking For
We are especially interested in experienced facilitators who enjoy leading reflective, discussion-based groups.
This role may be a great fit for
- Librarians or former librarians
- Current or retired teachers
- Adult educators
- Life coaches or workshop facilitators
- Therapists or group leaders
- Experienced book club hosts
- Retired professionals who enjoy guiding meaningful conversation
Time Commitment

- 1–2 hours per month for meetings
- 1–2 hours of preparation per session
