Part-Time Seasonal Event Technician Warehouse Assistant (Weekends Required)
Job Type: Part-Time, Seasonal Season: Peak season runs October through May (hours vary based on event demand) Important: This is a seasonal, part-time role and does not guarantee full-time hours.
Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Event Technician Warehouse Assistant to support our event production operations. This role combines warehouse organization, equipment handling, delivery logistics, and onsite event support for weddings, corporate events, and private functions across Central Florida.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, fast-paced environments, and being part of both behind-the-scenes operations and live event execution.
What You’ll DoWarehouse & Operations Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming equipment and deliveries
- Prepare and stage equipment orders for upcoming events
- Maintain clean, organized, and event-ready warehouse spaces
- Track inventory and report missing or damaged equipment
- Assist with wrapping, prepping, and maintaining photo booth equipment
- Charge, test, and prepare uplighting, tube lights, and other event gear
- Load and unload company vehicles (vans and box trucks)
- Perform general warehouse upkeep and cleanliness
- Support basic equipment repairs and troubleshooting when needed
- Assist with supply ordering, inventory restocking, and vendor coordination
- Maintain accurate records including equipment issues, purchase logs, and operational trackers
Event & Onsite Responsibilities
- Deliver, set up, and break down DJ, lighting, photo booth, and event production equipment
- Assist with photo booth operations at weddings and events
- Support DJs and lead event staff onsite as needed
- Provide professional customer service while representing the company
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues during events
- Occasionally remain onsite for full event support and execution
- Assist with promotional and offsite event activations
Vehicle & Logistics Responsibilities
- Ensure company vehicles are event-ready (fuel, cleanliness, and basic maintenance checks)
- Monitor vehicle maintenance needs (oil changes, tire condition, preventative maintenance coordination)
- Ensure diesel and fuel levels are maintained for box trucks and vans
- Safely transport equipment between warehouse and event venues
Additional Responsibilities (As Needed)
- Filling CO₂ tanks and preparing special event effects (e.g., cold spark machines, dry ice setups)
- Maintaining and organizing promotional materials and event inventory
- Assisting with photo booth system checks and live event monitoring
- Supporting operations updates, scheduling coordination, and internal communications
- Assisting with time sheets, time-off requests, and operational reporting
- Supporting warehouse and operations audits
- General “day-of-event” operational support as required

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs
- Ability to climb ladders and work at elevated heights (e.g., market lights and installations)
- Frequent standing, lifting, bending, and loading/unloading equipment
- Ability to work long shifts during events, often on your feet
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (company vehicles may be used)
- Reliable transportation to and from warehouse
- Must be comfortable handling expensive AV and event equipment with care
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
