As the Inbound Mail Specialist—Level 2, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of incoming mail, donations, and orders. Your work supports the ministry’s ability to steward resources faithfully and serve constituents around the world.
What You’ll Do
- Open, sort, and scan all incoming mail using specialized extraction and scanning equipment.
- Accurately record and process donation and order information with attention to detail.
- Perform manual verification of contributions, including checks, account numbers, and order details.
- Prepare and reconcile cash and check deposits, ensuring accuracy and security.
- Deliver deposits to the bank as needed.
- Troubleshoot and maintain mail processing equipment to ensure smooth operation.
- Support internal mail distribution and collaborate with team members to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Always ensure confidentiality of financial and donor information.
- High school diploma with additional training in machine operations or related experience.
- Strong attention to detail and basic mathematical skills with a focus on accuracy.
- Experience with PCs, including Microsoft Windows and Excel.
- Ability to learn specialized systems such as MAVRO and OPEX.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic equipment maintenance.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency and focus.
- A mature Christian faith and passion for global Bible engagement and discipleship.
