As the Editorial Assistant, you will support the creation of Our Daily Bread Publishing (ODBP) books and resources by providing editorial, administrative, and production assistance to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.

As the Editorial Assistant, you will support the creation of Our Daily Bread Publishing (ODBP) books and resources by providing editorial, administrative, and production assistance to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Provide editorial support, including proofreading and manuscript preparation.
- Format and style manuscripts in Microsoft.
- Assist with book production, including cover coordination and print-ready files.
- Review and implement proofreading corrections in collaboration with editors and designers.
- Help manage project timelines and maintain publishing workflows.
- Maintain file archives and update reprints and new editions.
- Perform administrative tasks, research, and internal coordination.
- Participate in team and production meetings; support special projects as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, publishing, or related.
- 2 years of publishing or related experience or an editorial internship.
- Strong proofreading skills.
- Familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat; InDesign a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- A mature Christian faith and passion for global Bible engagement.
- Commitment to the ministry’s mission, values, and statement of faith.
- A life consistent with biblical principles and ongoing spiritual growth.
