About the Job
1. Encourages and provides supports towards the development of Parent Leaders’ leadership skills.
- Recruits attendees.
- Attends all classes.
- Co-facilitates group until Parent Leaders can demonstrate self-reliance.
- Provides support and resources to facilitation team to enhance class content.
- Provides group support for difficult conversations.
- Facilitates group when parent leader is absent.
2. Manages program-related administrative duties.
- Creates and distributes marketing materials.
- Develops and prepares printed and visual materials or items required for group sessions.
- Purchases supplies, staying within budget and maintaining accurate records.
- Coordinates site logistics, including childcare, meals and classroom preparation.
- Maintains necessary documentation, including attendance.
- Collects data for quality assurance and assists FRPM with reporting requirements, as needed.
Other Duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Three years’ relevant work experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong written and oral communication skills. Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including Internet and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Colorado driver’s license, and ability to meet OUR Center’s driving standards.
- Ability to regularly work outside of regular office hours in order to meet organizational commitments in the community.
- Work is primarily performed in a typical office setting. Work may be performed in a private residence or community setting.
- Prolonged periods of using a computer.
- Light to moderate lifting.
