What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at Oud Coffee & Cafe?
- Beverages: Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks like coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. This may include customizing orders, describing menu items, and suggesting products. Baristas should also be familiar with brewing methods and equipment, and be able to prepare drinks according to instructions.
- Pastries: Serve our baked goods.
- Customer service: Take orders and payments, and provide exceptional customer service. Baristas should be able to anticipate customer needs, maintain composure under pressure, and be friendly and cheerful.
- Cleaning: Clean and sanitize work areas, seating areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Stocking: Stock supplies, retail products, and equipment. Baristas may also need to check temperatures in equipment and order new stock.
