Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages using established recipes and standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with precision and integrity
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
• Ensure food safety standards are met by following proper food handling, preparation, and serving procedures
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, pastries, or other menu items as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries or concerns with professionalism
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
• Uphold health regulations related to food safety and sanitation standards at all times

Experience

• Previous barista experience or background working in a café or food service environment preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totaling
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in serving or retail environments demonstrating excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
