Thermoforming Machine Operator - 3rd Shift

We are continuously expanding our plastics manufacturing capabilities in thermoforming, extrusion, injection molding and plastic recycling while providing high-tech products and innovative solutions to meet the needs of our customers.

• Keep clean & orderly work stations; including machines and equipment by maintaining a high level of Housekeeping and 5S of assigned lines and designated areas.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including LOTO to meet company standards.
• Recognize and correct safety hazards as they are identified and notify the appropriate personnel.
• Load plastic sheet into machines and cycle, while maintaining awareness of any machine related issues.
• Unload part and trim using a router, finishing tools and perform any assembly, as needed.
• Monitor machines for mechanical issues by visual and auditory inspection.
• Take corrective action and assist in problem solving for machine issues and notify the appropriate personnel.
• Obtain & ensure all correct stock and materials are used at all times and located by machine.
• Perform in-process inspection of parts and ensure they meet visual standards of acceptance and conformance.
• Recognize product defects and adjust equipment as necessary.
• Review and maintain required logs, check sheets, inspection sheets, and work orders.
• Calculate dimension, size, shape, and tolerance of tooling and equipment based on specification and monitor product quality by use of visual inspection and other quality and dimensional measuring tools.
• Cut/Grind/Recycle and Dispose of scrap plastic.
• Assist in on-the-job training and coaching of team members and support other machine operators as needed.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous Production Experience preferred.

• Lift up to 50lbs unassisted
• Standing/Walking for full shift
• Lift/Bend - Stack parts from floor level to above head frequently.
