Service Electrician

Service Electrician – Licensed Journeyman

Location: West Michigan

Opening at a growing electrical contractor serving residential and commercial customers throughout the West Michigan area. We are looking for a skilled and dependable Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys service work, troubleshooting, customer interaction, and a variety of small to medium-sized electrical projects. With no expectation to sell services.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical service, repair, and upgrade work for residential and commercial customers

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and safely

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, panels, circuits, and related equipment

• Complete service upgrades, lighting installations, device replacements, and other electrical improvements

• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local and national electrical codes

• Communicate professionally with customers regarding work being performed and recommendations

• Maintain accurate service documentation and job records

• Operate and maintain company vehicle and equipment responsibly

Qualifications

• Licensed Journeyman Electrician in the state of Michigan

• Experience performing residential and commercial electrical service work

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and manage service calls effectively

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to lift equipment and work in various environments as needed
