Schedule
- Morning shift: 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- Evening shift: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Choose the shifts that work best for you! Team members sign up for their own shifts, and we offer a very flexible schedule to fit your availability.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care by feeding, watering, and administering medications as directed.
- Monitor eating habits, overall health, and behavior, reporting any concerns promptly.
- Exercise dogs through walks, supervised playtime, and yard turnout.
- Safely handle animals using proper restraint techniques to minimize stress and prevent injury.
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, play areas, and common areas to maintain a healthy environment.
- Ensure animals have fresh water, clean bedding, and comfortable living spaces.
- Assist with general kennel operations and support fellow team members as needed.
What We're Looking For
- A strong commitment to cleanliness and organization. This is one of the most important qualities we're seeking.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Patient, compassionate, and confident working with animals of all sizes and temperaments.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, and cleaning throughout the shift.
- Strong time management and multitasking skills.
- Basic communication skills.
- Experience administering medications is a plus, but we're happy to train the right candidate.
