Duties
- Assist senior technicians with diagnosing and repairing automotive systems using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Learn to repair and replace suspension components, shocks & struts, and wheel alignments
- Support diesel engine repair, transmission servicing, and powertrain diagnostics
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive electrical systems to complete repairs
- Study vehicle schematics and technical manuals to understand mechanical systems and electrical wiring
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance recommendations
Requirements
- Previous dealership or automotive repair industry experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Strong interest in automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, and mechanical repairs
