Paraprofessional

GAP CARE PARAPROFESSIONAL:

LCSD7 is in search of a Gap Care Paraprofessional, working with children 3 to 12 years old, at Honker Childcare and Fremont elementary school. This is a temporary position w/out benefits, unless hired internally and becomes an extension of current position and work time. 

Projected Start Date: ASAP 

Shift Hours: Fridays ONLY / 8-10 hour shift

FTE: .25 (x2)

Hourly Wage: Classified Wage Schedule. Assistant. $18.02 - $20.87

OPEN until filled: Five (5) Day In-House posting 

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent                                           

• Successful experience working with children ages 3-12 yrs                                    

• High standards of moral character and ethical behavior        

• Patience and positive attitude                                                    

• Ability to plan and execute age-appropriate activities           

• Ability communicate clearly both orally and written               

• First Aid/CPR or ability to get prior to starting                        

•  Ability to pass Central Background Registry                              

• Ability to obtain ORO level 5                                                  

• Ability to perform duties of job, including changing diapers 

• Ability to use technology endorsed by the district – Google Suite, Lillio App (or similar), ThrillShare, etc.
