What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lawn Care Crew Member position at Other Side of the Fence Lawn Care?
Other Side of the Fence Lawn Care is looking for a dependable full-time crew member to help with lawn maintenance and landscaping work in Murfreesboro.
Job duties include:
- String trimming and edging
- Blowing off driveways, sidewalks, and other hard surfaces
- Operating commercial mowers
- Loading, unloading, and taking care of tools and equipment
Previous lawn care or landscaping experience is preferred, especially experience using string trimmers and blowers, but we are willing to train someone who is dependable and willing to learn.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Shows up on time and is dependable
- Works at a steady pace throughout the day
- Takes pride in doing quality work
- Takes care of trucks and equipment
- Can handle physically demanding outdoor work in the Tennessee heat
- Has reliable transportation to and from our shop
- Is willing to work longer days when needed
A driver’s license is not required for a helper position.
Typical hours are approximately 35–45 hours per week, Monday through Friday, starting around 7:30 a.m. Occasional Saturdays may be required depending on weather and workload.
Starting pay is $18–$20 per hour depending on experience and ability. Overtime is paid 1.5x the regular hourly rate. There is opportunity for increased pay and advancement for employees who prove dependable, efficient, and capable of taking on more responsibility.
