Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport guests to and from designated locations (airport, local attractions, hotel property) in a timely manner while ensuring their comfort.
- Greet all guests with warmth, courtesy, and a professional demeanor, creating a positive and welcoming first impression.
- Assist guests with luggage, packages, or other items as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the van, both inside and out, ensuring it is guest-ready at all times.
- Monitor and log mileage, fuel, and maintenance needs, promptly reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Follow all traffic laws, hotel policies, and safety procedures, ensuring a secure environment for guests.
- Offer helpful local information and recommendations when appropriate, adding a personal touch to the guest experience.
- Collaborate with front desk and other departments to coordinate shuttle schedules and guest transportation needs.
- Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and ensuring all safety equipment is functional.
- Handle guest inquiries or requests with courtesy, escalating concerns when necessary to ensure satisfaction.
- A courteous and safety-focused individual who understands the importance of making a positive first impression.
- A confident driver with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Able to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) screening as part of employment qualifications.
- Someone who enjoys interacting with people and creating friendly, genuine connections.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while managing time effectively.
- Comfortable with flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physically capable of assisting guests with luggage (lifting up to 50 lbs).
- Able to communicate in basic English; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Prior experience in driving hospitality shuttles, commercial vehicles, or similar roles is preferred but not required.
