What You'll Do:
- Generate seal proposals, presentations, and sales contracts while supporting the outside seals team with mechanical seals.
- Assist customers in improving equipment reliability and increasing MTBR (Mean Time Between Failures) of sealed equipment.
- Communicate expected delivery dates and expedite orders as necessary
- Identify opportunities to expand product base within every customer account
- Review customer operations for improving business process opportunities
- Continuously update all customers on company product capabilities, services, and enhancements
- Liaising between the company, vendors and customers for up-to-date information on pricing, service, and other issues
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with company and industry safety regulations.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical seals, pumps, and support systems
- Basic computer proficiency required, including Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation, data entry, and inspection reporting.
- Knowledge of the issues affecting distribution, manufacturing, and supply chain management
- Technical sales experience preferred, but not required
