Scheduler

SUMMARY/SCOPE  

OTTS is seeking qualified Schedulers in support of an upcoming project. This opportunity is contingent upon contract award.  

The Scheduler will manage role player scheduling and ensure role players are present for all training classes. Schedulers will work directly with the Project Manager and program personnel to evaluate and determine the role player type needed for each training scenario.  

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:  

· Manage all role player schedules.  

· Ensure employees attend applicable training.  

· Analyze monthly schedule, ensure appropriate number of qualified role players are available; provide qualified substitute in a timely manner.   

· Verify role players are knowledgeable of their assigned scenario role and location  

· Confirm role player demographics (height, weight, race, sex, eye, hair color, etc.); maintain photo library  

· Maintain list of qualified role players and his/her role(s) in database.  

· Adhere to company policies and guidelines; comply with all governmental security policies and procedures on training site.  

Qualifications:  

· Minimum two (2) years scheduling experience of comparable magnitude (management, administrative staff and 100 part time employees); law enforcement experience is highly desired.  

· Ability to pass a background check and preemployment drug screen, DOD Security clearance preferred.  

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills  

· Excellent planning and time management skills  

· Familiar with MS Office, possess computer and typing skills, experience with scheduling systems preferred.  

· Ability to work normal duty hours (6:30 am to 6:00 pm).   

· High School diploma or GED  

· US Citizen or ability to work in United States
