Job Title: Business Operations Analyst Department: Health System Shared Services | Supply Chain Logistics Job Description The Business Operations Analyst uses planning and hospital-based clinic management expertise to provide departmental operations support, including project/program management oversight, resource planning and development, procurement, organization, process improvement, standardization initiatives, policy development, and complete special projects for inpatient, critical care, and clinical spaces; This position supports OSU missions and values by coordinating and providing exceptional level of operational principles and analytical processes. Develops, monitors, and evaluates equipment requirements, protocols and/or plans to more efficiently accommodate patient volumes, enhance clinic workflow and assist with physician productivity; provides reports to leadership on clinic utilization and efficiency; and maintains good working relationships and contacts with Division Administrators, physicians, MIM staff, facilities staff, vendors, IT staff and any other departments. Assumes responsibilities for special projects including maintenance/ concerns/activities to ensure on-going safe and efficient hospital operations; serves as liaison between all parties involved with materials, equipment and facilities operations and clinical/non-clinical staff for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center; and develops action plans designed to improve clinical, functional, and patient satisfaction outcomes as required; monitors compliance. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus two years of supply chain experience—preferably in a hospital setting. Experience with medical equipment is desired; familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD is preferred.
