Responsibilities
- Safely transport food from the kitchen to dining areas using proper manual handling and safe lifting practices.
- Ensure food presentation meets quality standards before serving to guests.
- Assist with clearing tables, bussing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining and service areas.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timely delivery of orders.
- Support food safety protocols by handling food properly and adhering to sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating or garnishing under supervision.
- Provide excellent in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly and responding promptly to their needs.
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and basic kitchen operations.
- Ability to lift heavy items safely while practicing proper lifting techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Experience with banquet service or catering environments is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
