Job Summary
The Spa Attendant maintains the cleanliness and presentation of the spa while delivering a warm, attentive, and memorable guest experience. This role supports daily operations and ensures guests feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for throughout their visit.
Reports To: Guest Services Manager, Guest Services Supervisor
Status: Part-Time
Work Hours: Varying shifts between 7:30 AM – 10:00 PM, including weekends and holidays
- Pay: $18/hour starting monthly bonus (typically an additional $4-$6/hour after 30 days)
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and aesthetic standards throughout the spa
- Greet and assist guests; escort them to and from appointments
- Set up and clean up guest lunches
- Manage laundry (wash, dry, organize linens)
- Support service providers with supplies and room readiness
- Assist with overall spa flow and guest experience
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Spa Culture & Operations
- Uphold the spa’s Vision and Mission
- Provide friendly, calm, and professional guest interactions
- Orient guests to the spa experience
- Help create a personalized, high-quality guest experience
- Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment
- Respond appropriately to emergencies
Qualifications
- 2 years of customer service experience preferred (spa/hospitality a plus)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stay calm and professional in fast-paced environments
- Reliable, consistent, and able to work independently
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements
- Standing for extended periods
- Lifting 20–40 lbs
- Bending, reaching, twisting, and grasping
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
