What are the responsibilities and job description for the Therapy Patient Registration Specialist position at OSMC?
OSMC is growing and we have an opportunity to work for a great team in our Physical Therapy Department in Elkhart. This role does require the applicant to open the department and laptop set up for the therapists.
Attendance is critical for daily location set up. This position is working in our Therapy Department greeting patients/visitors in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner. You will check in patients, complete necessary patient registration paperwork, verify and accurately enter demographic information into the computer, add insurance information, scan insurance cards and attach the correct insurance information to the encounter for accurate billing. The hours are Monday - Friday from 815 am - 515pm.
