Position: Estimator

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial construction projects, both lump sum and negotiated contracts.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to thoroughly understand project scope and identify potential risks or opportunities.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure competitive and comprehensive pricing.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers and Superintendents during pre-construction phases to ensure alignment of estimates with project execution.
• Maintain and build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring Osman Construction's ongoing reputation for fairness and excellence.
• Assist in project hand-off meetings, clearly communicating bid strategy, scope, and risk to the operations team.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years of estimating experience within the commercial construction industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant experience.
• Strong analytical skills and a detailed-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in interpreting architectural drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information.
