Product Development Manager

A globally leading technology company is seeking an Operations Product Development (OPD) Analyst to collaborate with Operations, Procurement, and Finance teams in supporting product and roadmap definition while advocating for cost and supply chain efficiency. In this role, you will guide cross-functional teams to act as a “one stop shop” for data-driven insights into cost and supply chain strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of consumer electronics architecture, manufacturing processes, and cost structures. Job Responsibilities:

• Understand key consumer electronic technologies to be able to identify cost trade-offs that challenge design, feature, and supply chain constraints

• Manage data and data structures to drive key decisions and analysis

• Assist GSMs in deriving accurate closest to the pin should costs

• Develop new processes to cost product modules, incorporating various stakeholders’ perspectives and input

• Support various org-wide initiatives including projects to better understand cost trends over time

Key Qualifications:

• BA/BS 2-5 years in Operations/Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering or other relevant experience

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

• Self-starter with strong sense of ownership

• Ability to resolve ambiguity through a creative yet data-centric approach to program management/decision making

• Strong analytical skills and ability to maintain attention to detail within big picture thinking

• Experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities

Type: Contract

Duration: 6 months (with extension possible)

Work Location: Cupertino, CA (on-site)

Pay range: $ 47.00 - $ 62.00 (DOE)
