We are seeking an experienced, strategic Sales Director to lead and expand our sales team. The ideal candidate will drive sales growth, effectively coach team members, analyze key performance metrics, and successfully execute initiatives aligned with company objectives. This role requires leadership with clarity, conviction, empathy, and a data-driven mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Coaching:
- Lead and mentor the sales team, providing consistent coaching to help each member meet and exceed individual KPIs.
- Actively coach junior sales team members on sales techniques and strategies, demonstrating best practices through direct involvement in sales activities.
- Cultivate a collaborative environment emphasizing accountability, trust, and professional growth.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to translate strategic goals into clear, actionable team objectives and tactics.
- Identify opportunities for sales process improvements and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
Performance Analysis & Metrics:
- Utilize Bullhorn Analytics to regularly extract, analyze, and interpret sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring transparency and accountability within the sales team.
Direct Sales Contribution:
- Dedicate approximately 10% of the role to actively selling our services, setting a practical example for the sales team to emulate and learn from.
Customer & Market Insights:
- Continuously monitor market dynamics and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Client & Industry Engagement:
- Attend industry conferences and client visits quarterly, including the sales team, to build relationships, represent the organization, and foster business growth.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, including at least 2 years in a sales management or leadership role.
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to use data-driven insights to inform strategy.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve and surpass sales targets.
- Ability to independently manage responsibilities, prioritize effectively, and travel as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working within the staffing and recruiting industry.
- Familiarity with CRM and analytics platforms, specifically Bullhorn and Bullhorn Analytics.
- Experience volunteering or supporting STEM programs for students is a plus
Location:
- Onsite or hybrid at our Campbell office preferred
- Consideration also given to candidates in Sacramento or Southern California
- Remote candidates outside California will be considered but must work Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours
Salary:
- $100-$150K plus bonuses and benefits
