A globally leading consumer device company headquartered in Cupertino, CA is looking for a detail-oriented Operations Program Specialist to support product development from early concept (Cx1) through ramp. This role is critical in ensuring accurate sample organization, documentation, and measurement while supporting color, material, and finish approvals across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain organization and tracking of samples throughout the development lifecycle, from Cx1 through Ramp
• Support lab dip and finished goods (FG) approvals, including CYS / CSS activities and any SRB-related processes
• Partner with Color MQE to prepare and manage samples for ID (Industrial Design) reviews
• Manage and maintain a physical library of limit samples, ensuring accessibility and traceability
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all sample-related data and documentation
• Support shipping and receiving of samples, including proper labeling and tracking
• Conduct and support sample measurements, including color, gloss, and texture evaluations
Required Qualifications:
• 3 years of experience in sample management, color development, materials development, quality engineering, or a related product development environment
• Experience working with physical samples in a lab, design, or manufacturing setting
• Familiarity with color measurement tools and evaluation processes (e.g., color, gloss, texture)
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple samples and priorities simultaneously
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience supporting Industrial Design or Color/Materials teams
• Knowledge of product development ramp processes
• Experience with sample tracking systems or PLM tools
Type: Contract
Duration: 12 months with extension
Work Location: Cupertino, CA (100% on site)
Pay range: $ 35.00 - $ 49.00 (DOE)
