Product Compliance Specialist - Software Tools PM
Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Product Compliance Specialist - Software Tools PM to support low-risk, high-volume functionality issues and compliance-focused data tooling. This role is responsible for managing Atlassian Jira automations, dashboards, and tracking mechanisms while enabling stakeholders and leadership to efficiently monitor resource loading, tool enhancements, and regulatory compliance status.
The ideal candidate has experience in consumer electronics or a comparable technical industry, thrives in data-intensive environments, and is comfortable supporting evolving regulatory and data requirements across multiple systems simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Systems & Tool Support
- Support low-risk, high-volume basic functionality issues currently handled by Data System Owners
- Manage and create Atlassian Jira Automations and Dashboards, including actioning and resolving user-reported issues
- Collect, track, and triage issues and enhancement requests from tool users across Jira and custom internal tools
- Provide flexible support for changing data tools driven by continuously evolving regulations and data requirements
- Support the development of bespoke dashboards for diverse users and user bases using Atlassian Jira data
- Generate tracking data, timelines, and progress reports for tool enhancement deployment
- Enable stakeholders and management to create and leverage analytics tracking:
- Resource loading and capacity
- Efficiency metrics
- Product compliance evaluation status
- Optimize stakeholder prioritization to focus on areas of greatest compliance impact
- Collaborate closely with Data Systems Owners and Data Engineers to:
- Define development timelines
- Create and maintain enhancement trackers
- Ensure traceability and documentation across initiatives
- Ensure transparency to tool users regarding ongoing development activities and enhancement progress
- Generate clear, concise outputs in support of executive-level presentations prepared by Data Systems Owners
Technical Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or another technical discipline preferred
- Up to 5 years of relevant industry experience
- Demonstrated history of working with high-accuracy datasets (consumer electronics experience strongly preferred)
- Proven experience supporting datasets used for regulatory compliance, such as:
- EU REACH
- RoHS
- China VOC
- Other global regulatory frameworks (preferred)
Strong familiarity with:
- Workflow management tools (Atlassian Jira)
- Data visualization platforms (Tableau or similar)
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to support multiple projects concurrently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in both collaborative team environments and independently
Location: Austin Texas
Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days at home
Pay: $40-45 DOE
Salary : $40 - $45
