Duties
- Deliver prepared dishes from the kitchen to tables efficiently while maintaining food quality and presentation standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as plating, garnishing, and portioning to support kitchen operations
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests finish their meals, ensuring a tidy dining area
- Support the serving staff by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and assisting with guest requests
- Handle food safety protocols by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and communicate any special dietary needs or modifications
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including dishwashing and general sanitation duties
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred; host/hostess experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food preparation, dishwashing, and basic food safety standards required
- Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette for guest interactions
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Familiarity with beverage preparation, catering, banquet service, or delivery driving experience is beneficial
- Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as lifting trays or boxes of dishes
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment with positive guest relations skills
