Position Summary:
This role is responsible for completing electrical sub-assemblies, wiring machines, running pneumatics, and building/wiring electrical panels.
Essential Functions:
- Read and interpret electrical & pneumatic schematics
- Layout, fabrication, assembly, and wiring of electrical panels for use in machine electrical cabinets
- Wiring and assembly of electrical sub-assemblies using schematics and/or wire lists
- Installation of electrical sensors/switches and wiring of machines based on electrical schematics
- Installation of pneumatic components and related air lines on machines based on electrical schematics
- Layout and installation of electrical/pneumatic routing on machines based on electrical/pneumatic schematics
- Work with fabrication and mechanical assembly teams to layout required wireways for wire routing on machines
- Helps prepare machines for shipment, including cleaning, breakdown of machinery facilities, and preparation of miscellaneous items
Minimum Requirements:
- Associates Degree from two-year college or technical school, equivalent military or other technical training, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ directly related controls and power wiring experience
