Electrical Assembly Technician

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for completing electrical sub-assemblies, wiring machines, running pneumatics, and building/wiring electrical panels.

Essential Functions:

• Read and interpret electrical & pneumatic schematics
• Layout, fabrication, assembly, and wiring of electrical panels for use in machine electrical cabinets
• Wiring and assembly of electrical sub-assemblies using schematics and/or wire lists
• Installation of electrical sensors/switches and wiring of machines based on electrical schematics
• Installation of pneumatic components and related air lines on machines based on electrical schematics
• Layout and installation of electrical/pneumatic routing on machines based on electrical/pneumatic schematics
• Work with fabrication and mechanical assembly teams to layout required wireways for wire routing on machines
• Helps prepare machines for shipment, including cleaning, breakdown of machinery facilities, and preparation of miscellaneous items

Minimum Requirements:

• Associates Degree from two-year college or technical school, equivalent military or other technical training, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years’ directly related controls and power wiring experience
