We are seeking an experienced 1st Shift Operations Supervisor to join our team to help support and facilitate our growth.
Our Operations Supervisor will oversee all aspects of production within our print and insert operations, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality output, and adherence to deadlines. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in transactional mail processing, and a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of transactional mail, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management to meet production goals.
- Supervise and mentor production staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure all products meet company standards and client specifications. Address any production issues swiftly to minimize downtime.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of equipment, ensuring all machines are functioning optimally and coordinating repairs as necessary.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancements. Lead initiatives to streamline workflows and improve overall productivity.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices within the production area, promoting a safe working environment for all workers.
- Work closely with client experience teams to understand client requirements and ensure production capabilities align with project demands.
Qualifications:
- High School education required. Higher educational degree a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in production management. Experience within the print and mail industry a plus.
- Strong understanding of print processes, mailing regulations, and equipment operation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
