Expected pay for this position is $55.63 - $65.44/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Strategic Reimbursement Consultant facilitates compliance with reimbursement requirements, including annual cost reports for government payors. This role is responsible for regulatory reimbursement reporting and management of Medicare and Medicaid audits and appeals. The Senior Strategic Reimbursement Consultant provides reimbursement expertise for Medicare, Medicaid and other payor contracts for OSF Healthcare. Under limited supervision, this position is responsible for managing projects to improve reimbursement and will perform analysis on reimbursement for various strategic initiatives and legislative impact analysis.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare admin, accounting, finance, business
Experience: 10 Years, including at least 5 years in facilitating regulatory and reimbursement reporting.
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: MBA or CPA
Experience: 10 Years Licensure/ Certification: CPA
