Expected pay for this position is $31.19 - $36.69/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: The Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist, a pivotal role with our growing digital marketing team, will collaborate with internal teams to execute on- and off-page SEO strategies with a customer first focus. The SEO Specialist will streamline workflows, conduct audits, determine content updates to increase search visibility and phase out old content. The role regularly monitors, evaluates and analyzes various reports to showcase the impact of optimization and improve SEO website traffic and engagement. The SEO up to date will proactively stay up to date on SEO trends and search algorithm updates and participate in ongoing training.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, marketing, business, communications or related field.
Experience:
- 2 years’ experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
- Experience working with popular SEO tools (Google Search Console, Semrush, etc.).
- Experience with website analysis using a variety of reporting/analytics tools.
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
- Solid understanding of search engine algorithms.
- Knowledge of on-page, off-page and technical SEO techniques.
- Proficiency in conducting keyword research and ability to identify and target relevant, high-traffic keywords. Knowledge of ethical link building strategies.
- Creativity in problem-solving and optimization strategies.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Clear and effective communication skills for collaborating with content creators, developers and other team members.
