Pay for this position is $16.83/hour. This is an Hourly position.
Overview
This job is located in Peoria,IL
5 x 8 hour shifts (8am - 4:30pm)
POSITION SUMMARY: The PACE Activity Assistant functions as a member of the care team by assisting with the planning and implementation of the activity program provided for the participants of the PACE adult day services. Will assist with engaging participants through therapeutic activities and sensory stimulation. Demonstrates competency in serving the needs of the age specific population.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma/ GED Experience: 1 year of experience working with a frail or elderly population or, if the individual has less than 1 year of experience but meets all other requirements, must receive appropriate training from the PACE organization on working with a frail or elderly population upon hiring. CPR American Heart Association HealthCare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) required before providing patient care. Licensure/ Certification: N/A Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
