What are the responsibilities and job description for the PA OnCall Urgent Care position at OSF HealthCare?
POSITION SUMMARY: The Physician Assistant (PA) works in accordance with professional standards of care and adhering to corporate philosophy of OSF, and is responsible for providing high quality patient care to the patients of OSF OnCall Urgent Care. The PA maintains the consistency and quality of all services provided; full and current patient medical records, including reports of all examinations, procedures; and other services performed by the provider or other support staff. The PA exercises diligence in assisting in keeping costs of the practice to a minimum while maintaining a high level of quality care for patients. Providing a truly personalized, patient-centric experience to all patients of OSF OnCall Urgent Care. May be required to float between clinics as needed.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Master of Science in Nursing or Master of Physician Assistant Studies License/Certifications: Physician Assistant License BLS Other Required Skills/Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the age of the patients served.
