Expected pay for this position is $29.01 - $34.13/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY:
The HR Specialist – Provider & For-Profit Services serves as the primary HR resource for providers and Mission Partners within for-profit services. This role manages all provider-related HR transactions, ensures the accuracy of HR data, and supports total rewards guidance with a high level of service excellence. The Specialist leads cross-functional collaboration to resolve complex issues, coordinates key annual provider processes, and identifies opportunities to improve workflows that impact the provider and for-profit experience. This position requires strong judgment, confidentiality, and the ability to navigate issues without a dedicated center of expertise, relying instead on partnership with HR, operational leaders, and support teams across the Ministry.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High School Diploma/ GED
Experience:
2 years of Human Resources experience.
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.
Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
Ability to navigate complex issues with minimal direction.
Strong critical thinking and root-cause analysis skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Associate degree
Experience:
Experience managing HR data within an HRIS system.
Previous benefits administration experience.
Experience supporting providers, physicians, residents, or advanced practice clinicians.
Experience working in a healthcare HR environment.
Experience leading or coordinating process improvement efforts.
Experience facilitating meetings or leading discussions across departments.
Experience in project coordination or leading cross-functional initiatives.
