What are the responsibilities and job description for the Set Up Operator SLZ position at OSBORN LLC?
Proper setup of existing jobs including but not limited to the proper installation of the tooling, material, setting approved process parameters, and general readiness of the job. Insuring the robustness of these setups.
Responsible for obtaining 1st piece approval, following the departments “Frist Article Inspection’ Process.
Effectively & efficiently use hand tools. (Example; Allen Wrenches, Adjustable Wrenches, Screwdrivers.
Ability to follow provided set-up instructions, based on daily assignments.
Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work place in accordance with the departments’ 5S policies.
Responsible to follow all company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of all Set-up requirements for production equipment and processes.
Strong reasoning ability, able to analyze problems.
Excellent attendance
Good communication skills
Ability to work effectively within a ‘Team’ or ‘Individual’ setting.
Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily
