Osborn/OSPORTS is seeking a Lighting Designer in our Cleveland, OH office or our Columbus, OH office who will report to the Director of Lighting Design and are able to develop lighting designs, details, and drawings for a wide range of projects.

Position Responsibilities:
• Design and plan lighting systems in collaboration with a variety of professionals, including interior designers, engineers, and architects. Lighting design can be for commercial, health care, sports and recreation, historical, or cultural spaces.
- Using AGI32, Adobe Photoshop/InDesign and Revit/AutoCAD
• Design a lighting plan for the site according to customer specifications.
• During the design process, liaise between the client and engineering departments, balancing client desires and aesthetics with practical concerns.
• Manage lighting design within project budget constraints.
Job Requirements/Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Lighting Engineering, Theatrical Lighting, Interior Design, or a closely related field (or its equivalent). In lieu of degree, consideration will be given to candidates that have extensive experience in the field.
• NCQLP Certification or requirement to achieve certification.
• Proficiency in Adobe suite, AutoCAD, Revit, AGI32, Enscape, or other 3D lighting calculation and rendering software is required.
• Technical expertise in design techniques, tools and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, details, blueprints, drawings, and models is required.
• Technical knowledge of various lighting control systems.
