SUMMARY
An Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Northern Ohio seeks a hard-working, dependable individual to join our low-voltage lighting crew. We are the area’s leading outdoor lighting company and provide unsurpassed quality in outdoor lighting design, fixtures, installation and holiday lighting. This position requires a problem solver who enjoys working outdoors. This technician will be responsible for installing low-voltage outdoor lighting systems, primarily in residential settings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assembling lights and mounting them in prescribed locations
- Speaking with the customer to upsell other products
- Provide customer with system orientation as applicable
- Proper care and operation of company vehicles
- Ensuring there are proper inventory levels
- Running and burying low voltage wiring in landscape areas and lawns
- Mounting transformers and connecting wire runs
- Clean up of all areas affected by the installation
- Providing direction and/or assistance to other installers when applicable
- Speaking with clients to inform and educate them about additional products and services available
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
- Has a driver's license with a clean driving record (no moving violations or accidents in the last three years)
- Makes a good first impression by being well-groomed, articulate, personable, and comfortable with meeting new people
- Enjoys interacting with customers with respect and integrity
- Above-average technical ability
- Attention to detail and respect for our customer's property

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ideal candidate should have varied computer experience.
