Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in our long-term care setting.
- Assess residents' health conditions and monitor changes in physical and mental status.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Supervise and support nursing assistants and other direct-care staff.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
- Respond to emergencies and changes in resident condition.
- Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, and overall quality of life.
- Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations and facility policies.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Iowa or eligibility for Iowa licensure.
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and the care team.
