Duties
- Assist with tree pruning, trimming, and removal to promote healthy growth and safety.
- Support rigging operations to safely lower large branches or trees using ropes and pulleys.
- Operate bucket trucks and bucket lifts to access elevated work areas efficiently and safely.
- Help with landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, mulching, and general landscaping.
- Participate in tree health assessments and contribute to overall tree care strategies.
- Maintain equipment including tools, safety gear, and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Growing experience or interest in horticulture, arboriculture, or landscaping fields.
- Willingness to learn rigging techniques and safe operation of bucket trucks and other equipment.
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while working at heights or around heavy machinery.
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills.
- Good physical condition to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Nice-to-have skills include lawn care, landscape maintenance, or previous experience working outdoors.
