This is a full-time, on-site role for a Physician Assistant located in Henderson, NV. The Physician Assistant will work closely with orthopaedic surgeons to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, assisting in surgeries, performing minor procedures, creating treatment plans, educating and counseling patients, and collaborating with the medical team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Strong clinical skills in patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Experience in performing minor procedures and assisting in surgeries, particularly in orthopaedic specialties
- Ability to educate and counsel patients and their families regarding treatment plans
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Requirements: A Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program and certification by the NCCPA
- Active and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state of Nevada
- Previous experience in orthopaedics or related specialties is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
