What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Manager position at Orthopaedic Associates, Inc?
Orthopaedic Associates is a fast-paced, 12-physician orthopaedic practice with locations in Evansville and Newburgh, IN and Henderson, KY. We are currently seeking a reliable individual to manage our practice locations as an Operations Manager. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position with somewhat flexible hours Monday - Friday between 7am - 5pm. We are closed on the six major holidays and employees are eligible for holiday pay and insurance after completing their first 60 days of employment. We offer a lucrative PTO plan and 401K with a matching component. This individual would be expected to work from any of our office locations as needed but would typically be stationed at a home office.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for organizing departments within the offices they are assigned and will report directly to the COO for the overall efficiency of those offices. The Operations Manager will manage the employees assigned to their offices as well as anything building related. The Operations Manager will also assist the individual Team Leaders in managing their individual employees at a location the Team Leader is not present within.

- Track employee attendance and punctuality
- Coordinate scheduling of employees
- Report employee issues to the appropriate Team Leader
- Appropriately manage employee issues within the location, collaborating with the appropriate Team Leader
- Assist front desk staff to ensure appropriate patient contact and efficiency through the office, including checking patients in and out when necessary
- Ensure the front desk daily deposit reconciles
- Organize vendor updates, service, and deliveries
- Assist patients with specific problems or complaints
- Maintain office cleanliness and manage maintenance issues; purchasing office supplies, furniture, office equipment etc. for the entire staff
- Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with company policies and procedures
