Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Physical Therapist based in Destin, FL. The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients using evidence-based therapeutic techniques to restore mobility, enhance functional capabilities, and reduce pain. Responsibilities include developing personalized treatment plans, collaborating with healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team, and educating patients on at-home exercises and recovery strategies. Documentation of patient progress and adherence to industry standards and compliance guidelines are also key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in therapeutic techniques, exercise design, manual therapy, and pain management
- Strong documentation and organizational skills to maintain accurate patient records and follow compliance standards
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for patient education and collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist and CPR certification
- Knowledge of orthopaedic treatment and rehabilitation for bone, joint, muscle, and spine conditions
- Experience working in sports medicine or orthopaedic healthcare is a plus
