Orthopaedic Associates is a fast-paced, 14-physician orthopaedic practice with four locations in Evansville and Newburgh, IN and Henderson, KY. This would be a full-time position and would be benefits eligible. We are closed on the six major holidays and new employees are eligible for holiday pay and insurance after completing their first 60 days of employment. We also offer a lucrative PTO plan and 401k with a matching component. Hours are generally Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm. We are seeking a Medical Billing Team Leader that will be an active part of the Medical Billing department, in addition to providing supervision and oversight to that team. The Medical Billing Team Leader will oversee team scheduling and provide day-to-day employee supervision and administrative support to promote effective team performance and operations. The Medical Billing Team Leader will oversee aspects of the office associated with insurance claims, billing and payments, ensuring that the team is properly trained and educated in these areas.

· Oversee daily operations of the medical billing team monitoring claim edits, rejections and denials to ensure prompt resolution
· Ensure claims are billed accurately and in accordance with payor-specific guidelines, contractual requirements, and regulatory standards.
· Actively participate in billing operations, including claim submission, follow-up, and account resolution
· Monitor team productivity, accuracy, and quality metrics; conduct audits and implement process improvements to support departmental goals and revenue cycle performance.
· Provide training and ongoing education for Medical Billing Team members
· Serve as a resource and liaison for billing-related questions and concerns from patients, staff, leadership, and other departments.
· Perform front-line supervisory responsibilities, including scheduling, attendance management and performance evaluations.
· Maintain patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA, company policies, and procedures
