Role Description The Customer Service & Order Entry Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Tigard, OR, a suburb of Portland, OR. This role is responsible for responding to customer inquiries by phone and email, providing product information, and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the order process. Daily tasks include entering and updating orders in the system, verifying accuracy of product codes and quantities, tracking shipments, generating and sending AR invoices, and resolving order or delivery issues in coordination with internal departments. The specialist will manage customer accounts, follow up on open items, and maintain clear documentation of all interactions. This role also assists with basic administrative tasks related to customer records, contributes to continuous improvement of customer service processes, and supports sales and operations teams as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Support, with a focus on building positive Customer Experience and Customer Satisfaction.
- Professional Phone Etiquette and clear communication skills for handling inbound and outbound customer calls.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order entry, data management, and documentation.
- Proficiency with office software and order-entry or CRM systems; ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple requests and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively with sales, operations, and logistics teams.
- Prior experience in customer service, order processing, or administrative support; experience in healthcare or medical devices is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, communications, or related fields is an advantage.
