Warehouse Operations Manager
Position Highlights:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, with weekend flexibility as needed

- Team: Managing a staff of approximately 60 employees across multiple shifts
Position Summary:
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all facets of warehouse operations across all shifts, including receiving, put away, replenishment, inventory control, shipping, returns processing, sanitation, transportation, dock, and yard management. This role ensures operational safety, efficiency, and quality standards are met while fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. The Operations Manager collaborates closely with leadership to align operations with organizational goals and ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and FDA standards.
Key Responsibilities:
General Transportation Oversight
- Oversee transportation and logistics operations, including route optimization, fleet management, and driver supervision.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety protocols, and Hours of Service adherence.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to align transportation schedules with order fulfillment needs.
- Monitor key transportation metrics (on-time delivery, scanning, OS&D;, returns processing).
- •rack cost metrics such as cost per mile, maintenance, and fleet utilization.
- Identify underperforming metrics and develop action plans for resolution and continuous
- improvement.
- Coordinate regular business reviews with leadership to ensure strategic alignment.
- Maintain staffing levels to support 24/6 operational coverage.
General Warehouse Oversight
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, HACCP, and OSHA safety standards.
- Oversee operation of systems such as S2K, BFC Dakota, and SelectPrime for inventory and logistics management.
- Align warehouse operations with company-wide strategic goals.
- Establish baseline production and quality metrics, reporting, and accountability.
- Coordinate cross-shift and cross-functional meetings for operational consistency.
Shift Operations Management
- Enforce safety protocols and equipment usage standards.
- Drive productivity and quality through communication and coaching.
- Facilitate training sessions reinforcing SOPs and safety compliance.
- Oversee incident reporting, investigations, and follow-up actions.
Leadership and Team Management
- Supervise warehouse, logistics, and transportation teams across all shifts.
- Conduct performance evaluations and create staff development plans.
