Job Title: Virtualization Engineer

Job Type: 6-12 months
Job Summary:
- We are looking for a skilled Virtualization Engineer to manage and support our VMware vCenter environment across hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure. The role focuses on VM provisioning, lifecycle management, performance monitoring, automation, and ensuring SLA compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage VMware vCenter clusters, ESXi hosts, and virtual machines.
- Provision, optimize, and decommission virtual machines to ensure performance and capacity efficiency.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts or bots for VM provisioning, health checks, and routine maintenance.
- Integrate monitoring tools (e.g., vROPs, Newrelic) for proactive performance and capacity management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve virtualization-related incidents and support change implementations following ITIL best practices.
- Collaborate with Storage and Backup teams to ensure proper VM backups and disaster recovery strategies.
- Maintain documentation for virtual infrastructure, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure virtualization infrastructure complies with security standards and internal policies.
