GIS Analyst

Key Responsibilities / Detailed Write-Up

• Research, design, develop, program, and manage GIS tools, applications, and interfaces

• Develop, maintain, and support all spatial data systems, including GIS-related hardware and software

• Create, develop, and present GIS systems and cartographic mapping elements

• Integrate GIS components with other technologies for marketing, reporting, and web-based communication

• Convert and transpose complex data from:

  • Records and maps

  • CAD drawings

  • Land base maps

  • Demographic models

  • Economic and other source documents
    into GIS-related databases

• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of GIS data

• Support GIS standards, policies, and procedures

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information effectively

Required Skills

Technical Skills

• Experience with GIS software such as:

  • ESRI

  • ArcGIS Pro (highly preferred)

  • AutoDesk

  • Bentley

  • Intergraph

• Strong understanding of geographic and spatial data concepts

• Proficiency with:

  • Computer systems and applications

  • Database software

  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
