What are the responsibilities and job description for the K-8 PE Teacher position at Orleans Central Supervisory Union?
The OCSU Elementary Schools are seeking a full-time K-8 Physical Education Teacher. The ideal candidate will ensure that students have an opportunity to be active through fun and engaging lessons while also learning about the importance of exercise, teamwork, collaboration, and creating a pathway for a healthy lifestyle. They will differentiate instruction, facilitate outdoor learning experiences, organize winter activities, and structure games for student success. They will promote wellness within our building and collaborate with teachers and staff.

The Orleans Central Supervisory Union is comprised of two school districts (Lake Region Union Elementary-Middle School and Lake Region Union High School) supporting three K-4 elementary schools, and three 5-8 middle schools, the Orleans Central Early Childhood Program, and Lake Region Union High School.
Orleans Central Supervisory Union is located in the heart of the Northeast Kingdom which is known for scenic and rugged area of hills, sugarbushes, farmland and lakes.
