What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Intake Clinician position at Orlando Treatment Solutions, LLC?
Orlando Treatment Solutions invites master level clinicians or Certified Addiction Counselors to apply for our full-time Intake position. We are a community-based behavioral health treatment program that provides individualized care to clients seeking practical and sustainable recovery. Our treatment focus is partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programming.
We are looking for intake clinicians who enjoy providing comprehensive level of care assessments for adults with mental health and substance use needs. Our ideal candidate will work well as a clinical team member and have experience providing intake assessments. Experience with, and knowledge of, ASAM and LOCUS criteria is essential. The ability to use sound clinical judgement while completing intake assessments efficiently is essential.
Candidates with backgrounds in facility-based assessment services are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications:
1. CAC, CMHC or master's degree in a human services field (psychology, counseling, education, sociology, etc.)
2. Two years of experience working in a behavioral health setting especially with intake assessment and justifying level of care experience
3. Ability to express oneself clearly to staff and clients in a professional manner
4. Ability to use EMR efficiently related to completing intake assessments and concurrent reviews
