Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vehicle exterior washing, including hand washing, drying, and applying protective coatings to enhance vehicle appearance.
• Conduct vehicle paint correction procedures using automotive buffing tools and buffers to remove scratches, swirl marks, and oxidation.
• Detail vehicle interiors by vacuuming carpets, cleaning upholstery, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing cabins to ensure a spotless environment.
• Operate standard passenger car equipment safely, including pressure washers, cleaning tools, and automotive buffers.
• Apply window tinting techniques when required, ensuring precise application without bubbles or imperfections.
• Maintain the cleanliness of work areas and ensure all detailing equipment is properly cleaned and stored after use.
• Follow safe work practices at all times, including proper lifting techniques for heavy items and adherence to safety protocols within the auto detailing facility.

Skills

• Experience operating standard passenger cars with manual transmissions confidently.
• Knowledge of vehicle paint correction and automotive buffing techniques.
• Skilled in vehicle exterior washing and interior detailing processes.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, buffers, vacuums, and polishing tools.
• Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about their vehicle needs.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling supplies or equipment.
• Previous auto detailing or janitorial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
• Understanding of safe work practices in an auto detailing environment to prevent accidents or damage.
• Experience with automotive buffers and custodial tasks related to vehicle cleanliness maintenance.
