Orkin’s ABCs Of a Successful Universal Representative Are
- Answer questions from prospective customers regarding Orkin services
- Build rapport and handle objections within a conversational call flow
- Close pest control sales via the telephone and schedule the initial service
- Work remotely from your home office. You must have a minimum of 50 mbps download/20 mpbs upload high speed internet connection. We will provide the computer and other equipment necessary to be successful in this role
- Manage the customer relationship to ensure best in class service, while also identifying opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling
- Retain business by offering several remedies to prevent account cancellations
- Recommend additional services to increase protection value for residences
- Use different gamification methods as a tool to measure performance
- Schedule will include overnight, between the hours of 11pm - 8am EST, weekends, and holidays)
- Gamification methods to measure performance and increase engagement virtually

What’s required
- High School/GED
- 1 – 2 years customer service experience within or outside a call center
- Completion of a Culture Index assessment
- Verification of internet speed
- Ability to pass a computer assessment
- We will consider all qualified candidates for employment in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable federal, state and local law
- Appropriate workspace in your home, private/semiprivate home-office space free of distractions and background noise
- A workspace with adequate furnishings (e.g., a desk and chair) and lighting
- Minimum of 50 mbps download/20 mbps upload or higher, high speed internet connection with the ability to hard wire directly to a modem (speed test must be completed via www.speedtest.net)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong computer skills in various software and web-based applications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Comfortable working in a high-volume role
- Excellent customer service soft skills such as empathy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
